It's a challenge for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

We're talking about the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to another six T20 titles, and once went over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, targeted by the record chasers, are the only things left for a team that has achieved everything.

That it took as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the pitchers that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

It's challenging for their batsmen to hold a record if never given the possibility.

Whether this latest epic knock surpassed that earlier display remains open for discussion.

Some will argue the reasoning behind the pressure of a final. Different voices suggest with the test that comes when pursuing an unprecedented total and a raucous India-supporting crowd of 20,000.

What's definite is this ton was far harder to see coming.

The New Zealand onslaught in 2022 occurred when she was the highest scorer, but this performance followed six innings in India from the beginning of the previous month in which she had failed to pass 30.

"If you've observed me in training, it's been a frustrating experience because I feel like I've had no rhythm at all," said Healy.

"But once you enter the playing area, your fighting spirit activate and you completely engage with the match."

Healy's competitiveness has continuously been her key asset - and an invaluable trait in taking over from legendary former captain Meg Lanning.

She was challenged by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in the previous month's ODI series, dismissed by the emerging pace bowler in each encounter, but on this occasion it simply offered Healy's inspiration.

A single was taken off Gaud's first delivery and from that point the right-hander was on her way.

"An opportunity to take the field and face the challenge with her and simply enjoy myself in that aspect, somewhat inspired me," commented Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 balls - her fastest at the global tournament - and her ton in 84 balls as she flogged anything short, hitting 21 fours and three maximums.

When she was dismissed her side required another 66 at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm pleased we have the confidence to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, should it happen, we believe we can achieve it."

Those words will be the final thing rival teams at this tournament want to hear.

In recent days a sense they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this triumph succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.

It was in the semi-finals they left the prior year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a match Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she led her country for the inaugural occasion at a significant event.
